About

How I came to this work.

I came to the work I do today through very different paths. Meditation has been part of my life for many years. Later came supporting people through difficult periods, working as a speaker and systemic constellation work.

An experience that changed my perspective

One of the most formative experiences of my life was accompanying my father as he was dying. I experienced how little can be solved in moments like these – and how much it can mean simply to remain present.

Looking back, that time was also an initiation for me: a transition after which many things were no longer the same. It changed how I look at life, death, farewells and grief.

The time afterwards changed me too. I engaged deeply with grief and my own relationship to pain – with shame, doubt, relationships, my self-image and spirituality. Over time, lightness and my laughter returned as well.

These experiences also shape how I meet and support people today.

Meditation

A practice I genuinely live.

Meditation has accompanied me for many years. My teacher training lasted five months. During that time, a large part of each day was devoted to my own meditation practice – usually around eight to ten hours – as well as learning how to teach meditation, guide groups and create a good framework for shared practice.

What I especially value about the meditation I work with is that it’s intended to strengthen people without binding them to teachers. Instead, people become increasingly independent. Guidance can be useful depending on the situation.

What connects my work

My work has grown out of different experiences, training and professional paths. In personal guidance I combine a coaching-based way of working with close listening and a direct way of addressing things. Meditation can be included where it fits the person and the concern.

As a funeral speaker, another side of my work comes in: listening, taking in stories and finding words that fit a person and their life.

The different areas may look different from the outside. What they share is that I look closely, ask questions and don’t rush to fit things into a ready-made explanation.
